5th Spen Valley Scout Group
Welcome to the 5th Spen Valley Scout's website.
Based in Gomersal, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, we have a thriving Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts meet each Friday night during term time, with lots of other activities, camps and events during the year.

Family Tribute
Harry was a devoted son, brother and perfect grandson and we could not have asked for more. We as a family were extremely proud of Harry and all his achievements and he will be sorely missed. This terrible terrible incident has broken us as a family and leaves pain in our hearts.

5th Scouts up for prestigious awardUnder the leadership of ASL Katy, the 5th Scout's hard work on the Save a Tonne leaflet has been recognised and they have been short-listed for the Yorkshire Post's Environmental Award in the Young People's category. It's a great tribute to both Katy and the Scouts, good luck at the awards ceremony in March!

Blakedean 2010This year's leader walk was cancelled due to the weather - now rearranged for the weekend of 19th February 2010.
Christmas Tree CollectionThank you and well done to all leaders, parents and young members of 5th Spen Valley who gave up their time to help raise £440 with this years Christmas tree collection and special thanks to the fund raising committee for getting things organised.
